The owner of the other one must be stoked.

First Porsche lost a shipment of special built 911 models due to a fire onboard the transport ship, and now this. No new toys for the Narcos for a while.

I suspect driving one would be like shooting a Barret .50 without ear protection and while holding it about an inch in front of one’s shoulder. The only place for an ordinary person even to try to drive it would be a race track.

The new mid-engine vette will be 1,000hp at the rear wheels.
It will be a 250mph car for less than 1/10 the price of this one.

Driving it in Mexico City?
That was his first mistake.

The car was designed for an expert driver. In Mexico, that driver would be rarer than the car.

As a fat old body & fender guy (65 yr's old, 25 yr's plus doing repair's & building Totaled out car's) The color is just fine.
Hell, I'd even drive down and pick it up for the right price. If the motor and other part's haven't been stripped out by the local's.

Judging from the pic, that car is repairable.
Ive seen Ferraris in worse shape brought
back to life.

Ha ha. Too much car, too little brain.

The insurance company takes the hit, not the owner.

A little bit of history from the article: “Even if it wasn’t lying in a crumpled heap on the side of a major boulevard, it would be hard to miss this particular CCXR, whose striking turquoise livery inside and out is a signature of the Al-Thani royal family of Qatar. Built in 2009, the so-called “Special One” gained a measure of viral fame the following summer when it was booted by a traffic cop outside Harrod’s department store in London, which the Al-Thanis had also recently purchased.”
