Thanks. I watched the whole thing.
I never liked Seattle much, though I lived on an island in Puget Sound. Left more than a dozen years ago. By then the seeds were planted, now they are in full bloom. It will never get better. Crime, drugs, needles and poop on the streets, no consequences for anything. Visitors are appalled.
The stupid city counsel found billions and billions for an underground traffic tunnel along the shore when an expanded roadway would have been far cheaper and just as effective. But they cannot find the money to police the streets, in any meaningful way.
Who in their right mind would want to visit Seattle?
We have friends who I paid about $700K for a house in Seattle about 11 years ago. Just could not get the attraction. ..but they’re Libs...and from BC. I’m from south end. NEVER wanted to live NEAR Seattle...now don’t even want to go to Mariner games.
We used to visit Seattle years ago when our daughters were there. Then I developed an allergic reaction to the Left Coast so haven't been back since.
Lots of conservative ex-Seattleites fed up with this garbage have moved to North Idaho.
I lived in Seattle for almost 5 years, starting right before 9/11. Coming from the east coast, I loved it. The whole environment is so beautiful with the mountains and water. I thought people were low key, and in general, life was just better than places I had lived in before. I even thought about moving back to the area when I retired.
No more. You couldn’t pay me to move there. My son managed a large apartment complex and still looks at prices and properties out there and just shakes his head over what’s happened to housing.
Yeah, where I am in the Midwest is not as pretty as Seattle, but we don’t have the homeless camped out on our streets, housing isn’t sky high, and people have a work ethic. It’s sad how liberals destroy a place.
its not the number of cops....its that the cops are told not to arrest the people openly using drugs, defecting on the street, harassing passersby, stealing , etc..and the DAs won’t prosecute....
