Correct. Frank Robinson came with the team from Montreal. He was the last Expos’ manager (so far) and the first Nationals’ manager. And Davey Johnson, who is noted for getting fired by Angelos just as he won Manager of the Year, is the other who has manages at both ends of the B-W Parkway.

No, it was previously answered correctly. Torre was one. The other three are Stengel, Yogi Berra, and Dallas Green.

Wes Westrum, who succeeded Stengel as Mets’ manager, was asked what the team needed to do. He replied, “We’ve got to stop losing so many cliff dwellers.”

And Davey Johnson, who is noted for getting fired by Angelos just as he won Manager of the Year...

Firing Johnson was one of Angelos' bigger mistakes (among many).

The corrupt Angelos never had the slightest idea how to run a baseball team, and his two Rotogeek sons have even less.

Agreed. It’s been tough slog with Angelos, and I see no improvement.

In fairness, Mike Elias comes form the Astros organization and brings some of their ideas with him, and Brandon Hyde was Joe Maddon’s bench coach. (His predecessor in that job, BTW, was Dave Martinez. Maddon’s last two bench coaches are now managing in the Capital Region.)

The Orioles got some good young talent in the Machado and Britton deals, but the best of them aren’t quite ready yet.

You just have to hope that the Angelos brothers take a page from the Steinbrenner boys and don’t interfere with baseball decisions (just financial parameters.)

When the Nationals lost 100+ two years in a row, it netted them Strasburg and Harper in consecutive years. So Baltimreo has the prospect of a bright future, but it’s a few years away yet.
