Beast Wars was one of my favorite programs growing up. Alas
RIP Larry.
There are some seriously talented people back then making kids shows. Writing, producing, and acting in so many of those shows that still influence pop culture.

For anyone interested this YouTube channel goes into the history of a lot of the shows and toy lines of the 80s-90s. I learned that Beast Wars actually won Emmys! I had thought, being a G1 fan, that the show was considered mediocre.
There’s a popular YouTube show called “Retroblasting” which covers a lot of pop culture cartoons (and toys) in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
A sample of there topics include: Movie Ninjas, Thundar the Barbarian, He Man, G.I. Joe and the Thunder Cats (to name a few).

RIP.
He wrote episodes of He-Man, She-Ra, The Real Ghostbusters, all stuff that was a big part of my childhood. Joe Straczynski talks about him warmly, but also admits the two of them had a falling out after the second season of Babylon 5; the pair never fully patched things up before DiTillo passed.
