There probably is someone, or a group of people with lists, and old videotapes of the riots, the looting and the shrieking of curses at cops. I’m not saying all cops are angels and always do what’s right. No. They are only human and nothing more. I’m only saying that people who experience such events as ‘Fergusson 2014’ often have very long memories.
I recall living through the 1967 Detroit Riots.
Many, many businesses were destroyed, family incomes ruined forevermore. These business owners had nothing to do with the mood of the day. They were only easy targets.
A lot of suspicion and bitterness remained after those few violent weeks. What’s different now, is that we have the internet, many ways to film the action and post it for the world to see. Social Media is full of people bragging about crimes that they got away with. So that provides another resource of info.
Hmm ... Apparently they all wanted to be just like their hero, Michael Brown.
Their rap sheets might indicate another cause of death.

Violent thugs came out to riot and loot when social order broke down in Ferguson.
The riots were caused when gullible people bought into the lie that the cop - Wilson - had gunned down an innocent black man because of the color of his skin.
That was a lie.
These were NOT civil rights heroes - it’s NOT 1964 - the rioters were common criminals... Crime is a dangerous occupation - deaths are fairly common among the criminal class...
If AP’s Jim Salter looks deeper he’ll see that most of the people involved in Ferguson riots (not the protest part - the ‘riot’ part) had criminal records, come from fatherless homes, and have death rates similar to other criminals from similar backgrounds.
