yes, it was noted above to/for me, he did recuse (or was recused) - that doesn’t concern me much, though, for, like Sessions, he/they need(s) to be recused so he/then can take on the bad guys without any claimed taint. That is/was the first time I’ve seen mention that I recall that he was personally interviewed by POTUS, clearly indicating the sensitivity & importance of the post.

President-elect Trump interviewed lots of people. It was SMART. Many were real losers, e.g., Romney, Corker.

It was a great way to learn what he was up against, and partially defang some of them.

Agreed that recusal was needed. Concern was —who replaced him and signed off on raid on Attorney Cohen.
