Win10 isn’t that bad, yet it isn’t all that it is cracked up to be. Like Hollywood, it lends itself to a sequel.
So far, my only b*tch is the amount of HD space used for all the updates. You’d think that each update would delete the previous update files so that only the current update was on the HD.
But, Nooooooooo! The latest update won’t work without the last update. And they call themselves programmers. They’re more like coal miners who learned to code.
Had a laptop that I forgot about one summer. Booted it up and it was 7 updates behind. Took overnight to update. I left a notifier on to wake me up to re-start and re-boot. It was worth it because it would have been a real task to haul my tower on the airplane (KEK).
I did order a Dell with 10 home on it. After sending a few hours trying to provide all the personal info required to boot the system up I gave up. Never did get it to load win10. I sent it back. Someone told me that the pro edition didn’t require all that.
I just want to turn the damn thing on and use it.
