So easy yet some just can’t ignore a ringing phone. I apply this rule multiple times per day and some even take advantage of leaving a message. Very rarely is it somebody I need to call back, most are running a scam with an opening about unpaid college loans which were closed out over five years ago, long before the scammers came along with this hook.
I never answer unfamiliar numbers but they hijack the numbers too. I actually had a call from my grandson’s number, my son got a call from a family friend’s number.
GS #2 was visiting from across the country this week, he got calls from local numbers while he was here.
Bingo!
Easy enough for me: if you're not on my Whitelist, the call never makes it through. It's that simple and that's what I'm down to since it's impossible to block all these scammers and Lord knows I've tried!

We don’t. Even got phones that block about a thousand calls. It’s probably got a few hundred on it already. I feel so bad for these seniors that get taken in because they have no one to protect them. These scammers need to be drawn and quartered!!
