I understand the feelings expressed here.
I also know some Muslims VERY intimately, they are magnificent people that I would protect at any cost to myself.
Islam DOES indeed need a reformation though.
Too many crazies claiming Islam as their reason to terrorize....they need to be shunned by the mass of Islamic believers.
Appropriate response. I know some too and have taught them in school. Told one specifically that if the violence by radicals didn't stop, we were going to see some terrible conflict here. He was told that over 10 years ago. Some people never listen to what they are told.
We can stop the anti-muslim rhetoric when Saudi Arabia, Iran and Indonesian leaders call for the anti-Christian/non-muslim rhetoric be silenced. Try that first.
Muslims commit so many atrocities against the West that it doesn’t even raise eyebrows any more. We have been conditioned to accept it as “the cost of doing business”.
For Christians, the New testament was the reformation.
I have read the Koran and other sacred texts, none come close to a true reformation like the New Testament...it is a wholly new religion.
There ARE some disturbing passages in the old testament...I’m glad I was raised to believe the New testament as the word of God.
I pray for a reformation of Islam, Islamic believer are NOT bad people...they just need a new direction based on the Koran but removing the horrific parts..There were passages in the Koran that brought tears to my eyes they were so profound...they need a reformation based upon these passages.
Spain made the mistake of giving Muslims and their allies a choice. Leave, change their belief or take their punishment. The inquisitions worked out very poorly in the long run.
In the mean time until we get strong support to make this happen. Understand there is one Islam. During the life of Muhammad or the dawah. There are two types of Muslims.
Those that believe in the dawah (follow Muhammad to the letter) and those that their parents told them what Islam is.
We need open forums for Muslims to learn what Islam really is. VERY few Muslims know their own belief. It sounds inscrutable but I can show you many examples.
BTW - the New Zealand attack was an obvious false flag. Implying Candace Owens has more extreme views then a mass murderer and that "OK" sign he made when white nationalist don't use that sign.
I could list tons of things showing this was set up and orchestrated.

I base my morality and trust my soul to the teachings of the New Testament.
It all boils down to treating others as you would have them treat you.
And having a belief that there is something far greater than you that exists.

Christianity had Christ to change the belief. Muhammad told his followers he was the last prophet. There can be no other. Interpretations are based on the earliest. All interpretations after are meaningless.
Anyone telling you that Islam can change is fooling you. Islam can never change.
Islam is a political philosophy in the guise of religion. It is like communism. People that live under communist rule are not inherently evil. Many are good. It is the power structure that is evil and the fanatical adherents to the philosophy. Reformation is not possible.
The killing of 50 Muslims by some of the nuts ostensibly on our side pales in comparison to what their nuts have done to our side. (Worlds tiniest violin playing) If even a small fraction of the barbarians that believe in the Islamic “faith” felt badly about the slaughter committed in the name of their world domination “wanna be” religion I would feel bad. As is I don’t care and I lay that lack of caring squarely in their own laps.

Let’s hope it gets reformed in a manner similar to how the British reformed the Thugee religion.

Move to a country where the demographics are reversed and see if anyone protects you at any cost. Not gonna happen irrespective of anything they may feel for you.
The nature of the beast prevents a reformation; reformers and critics are quickly killed.
