Her mother could pronounce Porsche, she just couldnt spell it. It's sad, but I've seen illiteracy immotalized in children's names too many times to count.
My first wife's brother was named Charette. Her mother and father pronounced it, Troy-ette, and called him Troy for short. I kid you not.
