So who will they choose to blame for this? Those pesky anti-vaxers thousands of miles away? This begs the question, how effective are the vaccines? Or could the vaccines be the cause? Yes, I'm aware, the pathogens are dead, so they say.

For the record, it is not "parotitis," but rather parotiditis, an inflammation of the parotid glands that can be caused by either viral or bacterial infection.

MSNBC. Come on, people. Those guys are idiots.

All seven hundred and three military personnel aboard the ship have received measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) booster vaccinations, according to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquartered in Bahrain.

Decidedly not the anti-vaccination crowd, I guess.

Sounds like someone picked-up a contagious case of “parotiditis” while on shore leave. Nasty stuff.

Our military is big on getting everyone vaccinated so this doesn’t fly. Mumps since Dec. and they supposedly can’t get it contained doesn’t fly, either. Nope, not buying this at all.

Quarantine a military vessel but let hordes of disease ridden illegals stream across the southern border.

Makes perfect sense.
