Actor William H. Macy may have avoided being charged over the college admissions scandal because the allegedly incriminating emails were sent by his wife.
Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman is among 50 people who have been accused of paying bribes to get their children into America's top colleges.
Huffman wrote an email about making a 'charitable contribution' of $15,000 to get their first daughter's SAT answers corrected, court documents show.
Although the FBI allegedly recorded Macy discussing doing the same for his second daughter, Georgia Grace, the couple ultimately decided against doing so.
In the same phone call Macy was recorded explicitly acknowledging the bribe for his first daughter, Sofia Grace.

I am sure there are many of us who have watched their kids set goals and worked every day academically and or athletically towards college scholarships. Our daughters four years of high school revolved around ONE THING, tennis. She missed many social events because her goal was to get a full ride to play college tennis. So when she was getting ready to apply, she put together a video of her playing, she submitted newspaper clippings, referrals from coaches, her USTA and high school win/loss records, etc. All the while studying like crazy for her SATs and NCAA eligibility. Who knew that all she had to do was put her face on Serena Williams body and voila! Full ride.

The wood chipper part was.Years ago there was an airline pilot in Connecticut who,for some reason,decided that his wife was a burden and so rented a wood chipper and put her in it. IIRC it's written up in Wikipedia...but am not 100% certain.
