I’m writing things down. One of my favorite movies “ The Big Sleep”. Bogey brought the hard case PI to life. My appetite for reading or audible books out runs the video interest. Just me and my interests.

Colombo wasn’t a private dick. He was a police detective. Not sure he qualifies for this thread.

I love just about all of them. Years ago I got into this fictional series that takes place in feudal Japan by Laura Joh Rowland. Can't put them down once I get started. Always thought they'd make great movies.

Book one.

Nero Wolfe.

Loved the A&E television series. The books were good too.

Nick Carter P.I., Same Spade of Wildroot Cream Oil fame. Oh wait, they never made it to TV. Lamont Cranston did.

I think Crais is a dog man. The books Suspect and the promise introduced a canine cop and dog then teamed them with Elvis Cole and Joe Pike the ending of “Suspect” was great. Sad Rohmer has a character called Paul Harley that’s interesting. They are old books set in the nineteen 20’s, but aren’t bad. My issue with current writers are they write slower than I read. It’s frustrating. 😬

“I like to watch Cannon’s one punch knockouts. Can’t remember him even getting a bruise.”

Chump change.

Just the other night I saw Steven Seagal take down an entire heavily armed Jamaican drug cartel without even asking for a Band-aid.
