No. We celebrate talent above looks of a woman or looks of the new Democrat nazi ideological uniform
Explain, please?
“Explain, please?”
Without checking the link, I’m guessing that it refers to Monica Rambeau having the name Captain Marvel before Carol Danvers. Rambeau’s powers were vastly different though. As I recall, she could transform into any type of electromagnetic energy, including light, and could travel at the speed of light. Not sure what happened but I think the Rambeau character eventually changed her name to Photon, and I think she may have disappeared from comics. Not sure about that.
Monica Rambeau was the first female version of Captain Marvel to take on the name, she happened to be created as a black character.
The character in the film, Carol Danvers, predated Rambeau, but was known as "Ms Marvel."
I generally like the Marvel films but I'll happily skip this one. Nothing shown or written about it makes me curious.
Now THAT was cerebral, intelligent comic book storytelling. Reed Richards' moral dilemma about whether the heroes should fight Galactus or to instead let Galactus win at the cost of their own lives, is material worthy of any legitimate college ethics class.

I enjoyed Secret Wars. Probably most who saw the movie Venom didn’t know that was where the character was introduced...and became Spider-Man’s black costume for a while.
You’re right. Comic books were much better back then. I quit when Marvel just went bananas with all their #1’s with variant covers. Glad I got out before they got hit with the diversity insanity. If not for the movies, I’m not sure Marvel Comics would have survived.
Marvel saw how Wonder Woman got over and had to jump on that. It wasn’t enough that their film empire beats DC to death income wise. I love most of these characters but we need a resurgence of non-comic book genres.
