Well, the US has had sanctions against Venezuela since 2011. The US has increased those sanctions over time to include sanctions on cancer, diabetes, and other medicines.
The US has urged Banks to freeze Venezuelan gold & cash.
The US stated Maduro stopped humanitarian aid, and set trucks on fire, despite video showing opposition lackeys throwing molotov cocktails into one truck, then beating up the oppo capo who said he would pay them as he’s yelling, “I said 3 trucks. You only set one on fire, so no pay”.
US via Marco “tweets” Rubio announced Guri Dam backup generators failed within 3 minutes of the failure.
