Bronx DA supports granting driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants

Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said Saturday that she supports granting driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants, becoming the second city prosecutor to back the measure.

Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez has also supported the bill.

“Government should encourage people to comply, rather than standing back and hoping people violate the law so they can be arrested,” she said at an Albany Conference.

Notice that the originators of bills like this, outrageous bills like this expressly designed to make it easier for illegals to vote, have HISPANIC SURNAMES. Those folks are NOT working on behalf of the United States of America, that's for sure. They are double agents for their own. "State Sen. Luis Sepulveda (D-Brooklyn), the bill’s sponsor"--nuff said. Now this oversized pig of a Bronx DA comes out and supports a measure which allows people an easier time of breaking our laws! She claims that "if one of these illegals is pulled over, at least the police would know who they're dealing with." What utter nonsense. They shouldn't be here in the first place, they shouldn't be driving a car, they don't understand road signs, and they quite often drive drunk. And THESE people she wants to help? And then, we come to a major reason for this stupid measure: according to the article, "...The measure would generate $57 million in license and registration fees annually from an 265,000 additional drivers, according to the Fiscal Policy Institute..." Yes indeed, it's all about the Benjamins for Cuomo and his merry band of disgusting traitors. HE wants to legalize marijuana, with dollar signs of tax revenues in his eyes. Never mind the harm it does to the human brain, to children, its role as a gateway drug, the horrific traffic and industrial machine accidents which it will cause--no--it's the tax revenues to piss away on stuff for illegals that he's interested in, and their subsequent [illegal] votes. And no one will do anything.

I wonder what would happen if the insurance industry demanded citizenship papers of people who want to buy auto insurance, or else they WOULDN’T COVER THEM at all, including ANYONE HIT BY THEM?

This would make legal citizens with auto insurance crap in their pants and demand that illegals NOT GET DRIVERS LICENSES because they would be the victims of their accidents and have to pay for it. Any that got fake licenses would be deported immediately for possession of a fake government document, no slack given.

Of course NYC won’t do this, but the insurance industry can demand that it be done, or else they will not issue car-insurance policies to anyone in the city, and even pull their businesses out of there.

Let the innocent legal people revolt for once instead of acquiescing in this leftist crap. Otherwise, they can suffer the consequences of their own cowardice.

Unfortunately I have to drive into NYC.

Where do you have to go in NYC? The quality of driving, while lousy, does vary widely from borough to borough. Driving in Manhattan is near impossible. You can actually take 6 lights to go 1 single block, the traffic is that bad. In the outer boroughs, you can drive, but it's going to be mostly a conga line of bumper to bumper, at least 8-10 cars. If there's a Chinese driver at the head of the conga line, expect to miss just about every light, because they generally drive about 19 mph---I've clocked them. Parking is virtually impossible in Manhattan, unless you pull into a parking garage, and then don't bet on it. Parking in the outer boroughs is extremely difficult, varies by the neighborhood, and watch out! They are now reducing the time on parking meters, so you only get 13 minutes per quarter instead of 15 minutes. There are streets subject to "alternate days", meaning on certain days of the week, ostensibly to allow street cleaning (but mainly to write tickets as a cash cow), you can't park on a given side of the street during certain hours. If you are found by the meter maid (and they start trolling for violators even before the delineated time) on the wrong side of the street during those hours on those days, you get a whopping big parking ticket.
