NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) The Queens Center Mall erupted into chaos Friday afternoon after police say a rappers book signing spiraled out of control.
Authorities say Bronx-born rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie whose real name is Julius Dubose was scheduled to appear inside the malls Puma store at 5:30 p.m.
Video posted to social media showed people getting into fist fights and looting stores, as sheer chaos broke out around 2:30 p.m.
They grabbed the chairs and broke it on his head, the poor guy was bleeding, witness Maria Moncada said. It was bad.

I blame the boogie.
So far, at least, no one’s been beheaded. (But that’s next).
...a rappers book signing...
Yeah, his fans don't sound like readers.
Heh. True, that.
One of the real reasons Amazon pulled out of NYC. Not enough people willing to work and having proper I.Q. points to get the jobs done.
“Who let the dogs out?” was a predictive song.
Nah, I'll just bust the chair over your head...
Not to worry the same bill passed by former president a##clown and his side DOJ kick holder will cover this. No jail time for the yooots. It worked at parkland high school
Couldn’t see that coming ...
Looks like just a few rappers got rapped on da head.
Queens Mall...
That was the neighborhood where I grew up.
I remember when that property held an amusement park, a discount department store (later a huge grocery store), parking for both and a couple of gas stations (Sunoco and Shell)
I even worked in that grocery for a while in the late 60s as a front end manager.
Hell, here in the Cleveland area, in places like Red Lobster, IHOP, and buffet restaurants, when they don’t want to pay for the food that they ordered and ATE, all they gotta’ do is complain (optional), start a riot, tear up the joint, and leave without paying.
And even if they don’t tear up the joint they will seldom if ever give the waitress a tip.
But, ya’ know? It’s our fault.
The mall has a Puma store, that’s plenty enough info to cancel the insurance.
Where I do almost all non-grocery shopping.
What a glorious culture...
