Whoopi Goldberg has shared a health update after being absent from The View for just over a month, revealing on Fridays show that shes not dead, but she actually came awfully close.
I am OK. Im not dead, Goldberg said in a taped segment that rolled at the top of Fridays episode. Yes, I came very, very close to leaving the Earth. Good news, I didnt. Thank you for all of your good wishes.

Publicity move . . . nothing else . . . a most evil, pagan piece of garbage . . . you should hear what I really think of her . . .
We were in a small restaurant/sports bar last night and sitting at the bar. The TV had Whoopis interview on. When she said I came very, very close to leaving the earth, good news, I didnt, about fifteen people went crazy laughing, one guy said, damn, we were that close.
The germs could only stand so much time in her body. They had a bad case of Whoopi.
I had it once about 15 years ago.
Several days of absolute misery.
My mother and the wife’s mother had it years ago. They’ve both passed now, but not from the pneumonia.
Me too.
Drama Queen.
After what she has said, someone is supposed to be sympathetic? Really?
She developed SEPSIS. That’s why she almost died.
Yeah, that was a presumptuous statement on her part.
With Whoopie, it seems to be the opposite. She looks in awful shape - really unpleasantly fat and bloated-looking. Obviously, snacking all day on Doritos and God knows what else.
Enjoy having to explain those six or eight abortions to your Creator, Whoopi.
Missed it by that much
I have had bronchitis and pneumonia. I can always telll. When I lay down I start wheezing. I go to the doc immmediatelly. Nothing to mess around with. I have got too where I wont even let the grandkids come over if theyre sick. I told daughter no just recently. When we get sick now one of us winds up at the doctors office eventually.
“The germs could only stand so much time in her body. They had a bad case of Whoopi.”
Now that’s funny! Talk about a dread disease.
Its time for her to get right with the Lord. She got a second chance most dont. Hopefully she will use it wisely
Poor dental hygiene may also contribute to heart disease.
And to the broader question asked, yes it does seem that the mass importation of people from the third-world results in our getting to deal with diseases that have been under control here for many decades.
I caught it 20 years ago from our kiddo via school. Kiddo got well in no time but it took me a month. About the time I got well, bam, kiddo came down with it again and passed it on to me again. That time I was in bed six weeks or more and got shuffled from doctor to doctor who did nothing. One, seeing I could barely stand up, finally gave me some antibiotic which immediately stiffened my joints so bad I was in tears. Hubby found a pharmacist who was understanding and opened up on a Sunday to give me a different med. To this day, to breathe, I have to sit up at night which doesn’t make for a good night’s sleep. But, because I wasn’t elderly, I could never get the pneumonia vaccine.
I used to give her a break after she said she’d been to Africa and it’s not a good place so was glad her ancestors were brought to America. Now, with her and her fellow sickos on The View, even that Africa thing isn’t enough.
That’s several of us who had it about the same time. Wonder what was going on?
Perhaps going off the deep end here but there was bunches and bunches of people here who had it and couldn’t shake it. It was so widespread that conspiracy theories were flying. There was even a report in the newspaper, with pictures, of black helicopters spraying across the town and county. The articles were online for years but can’t find them now. All I know is I was never so sick and still have lasting problems from it.
