Joshua Nerius became privy to his parents anti-vaxxer convictions only after he contracted measles himself at 30 years old. Now hes speaking out against parents who hold similar beliefs, calling them people who want to spread fear.
What began as a rash and high fever in the spring of 2016 was later discovered to be none other than measles a highly contagious, and often life-threatening disease thats become increasingly rare since the introduction of a vaccine in 1963.
It was only after an emergency room doctor told Nerius his condition strongly resembled measles that Nerius asked his mother if hed been vaccinated. She responded with a thumbs-down emoji.
Anti-vaxxers, or, those against vaccinations, are often considered to share more of a fringe mindset, often holding steadfast to the belief that vaccinating children can lead to afflictions such as autism. While this claim has been disproved by many reputable sources, fervent anti-vaxxers argue the denial is a conspiracy orchestrated by Big Pharma.
Dr. Paul Offit, who is both a professor of pediatrics at University of Pennsylvanias Perelman School of Medicine and director of the Vaccine Education Center at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, spoke to CNN about the children he treated during 1991s measles outbreak in the City of Brotherly Love. They were absolutely miserable. And occasionally, they were dead, he said, referencing the nine children who died as a result of the outbreak.

There are no guarantees in life. Its all about managing the odds.
There was a recent article of parents recieving a million dollar reward and 500000 dollars a year for the care of an autistic child who became that way after a trivalent MMR shot.(Now how recent the story itself was I don’t know as I for got to note the date)
They’re not being endangered by not being vaccinated. The vaccines themselves, and the ingredients themselves, are the danger. You people are the danger. You are more of a danger than the Islamists, because you people want government enforcement over millions of people. That makes you no better than Nazi scum.
Sec am was referring to Psalm 2..”Why do the nations so furiously rage together; why do the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the Earth rise up, the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and his anointed.”
Yep
Possibly Hannah Poling, whose autism was caused by the MMR.
Her Mom is a nurse, dad is IIRC a neurologist. They know what they are talking about.
Last I communicated with them through NVIC, the decision had just come down. Everything was under seal, but someone on the other side was leaking info.
I think the concepts of vaccinations are sound but the current schedules suggested by the FDA appear beyond good sense when you start counting the numbers of shots required between 0 to 18 years. Also...given how everything is politicized now at the FDA, can we trust them to be reliably truthful in their promulgations of any sort of medical care and advice right now? In 15 years the vaccinations required have almost doubled, most of which happened during the Obama years.
The eyes that are supposed to provide light to the body politic have become darkened, thus the body politic has become filled with darkness and the people stumble blindly, not having the info necessary by which they can make rational decisions about their votes and in whom they should trust to guide them in their everyday decision making!
Define “polio”. Has the definition ever changed? If you can tell us how the definition changed just before it was claimed that the vaccine reduced polio, you get a cookie.
It was said about 10 years ago, that the ONLY diagnosed cases of polio in the US were caused by the vaccine itself.
This is reasonable, but any deviation from the full schedule is unacceptable to radical anti-personal consent Nazis.
And ultimately, it is up to the individual and/or parent. Just as Okeydokey’s choice to say, be a fat pig, is his choice alone, subject to his willingness to pay life insurance premiums.
Thx
Theyre not being endangered by not being vaccinated.

Apparently in the parallel universe they are not.
I am an RN and have read the inserts for various vaccines. Included in the fine print of many of these inserts under adverse effects is “autism”. It’s like the movers and shakers privately know there are issues with these vaccines but they are playing a statistical numbers games and have accepted privately that small numbers might be killed or permanently harmed but that is worth the risk for the benefits received by the greater numbers. Thus the makers and the politicians work to suppress the truth of the risks because even the few that get harmed could cause vaccine makers to be bankrupted out of existence. It is why we have a special “vaccine” court set up in this nation.
In the main, the basic vaccines do provide a benefit but if there must be vaccines, there must be a transparency about the risks and mechanisms set up to compensate for when harm does occur. It doesn’t have to be all gaslighting and cloak and dagger or accusations of one side being ludditic and the other side being one state sadists.
But 90+ forced vaccinations of children before age 18 is beyond the pale and some higher “up in control” persons or groups of disease prevention “pearl clutchers” have gone wildly out of control! Our immunization system in this nation needs a major overhaul!
i have no idea what you’re talking about. There were polio outbreaks in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Then a vaccine was introduced rough in the 1930’s. Now we don’t have polio anymore. Pretty simple.
Well it isn’t pretty simple, and no legitimate scientist or statistician would ever make the claim you are making based on that timeline.
Polio at one time, prior to the vaccine, was defined as a collection of diseases. Following redefinition, polio incidence was reduced simply as a result the change.
It is fairly obvious that you have no idea what you are talking about, or you are being will fully dishonest.
On the other hand, I work in modelling, regression and statistics, and have for 25 years. I *do* know what I am talking about.
And we still have polio. One version IIRC is Guillian-Barre syndrome. It is a KNOWN side effect of vaccination for some people - and not just the polio vaccine. Another is the deadly version reported in the news. Great job, conventional medicine! /S
1954 and 1961. Something was tried around 1935 but was a failure.
Any immunization protocol needs to take into account the genetic and health profile of the individual child. My issue is with injection, which bypasses most of the immune protection God gave us.
Dr Stephanie Cave, who treats vax injury, recommends the MTHFR test and the urine organic acid test. Based on the latter, the child should have diet adjusted, nutritional supplementation etc for months prior to any potential injections. No child should receive ANY vax before their natural immune system is somewhat established, say age 3+, as any vaccination with adjuvants pushes the immune system into a mode where children a far more likely to get cancer.
So...we are FOR proper immune system development, nutrition, clean water, breast feeding. We are AGAINST introduction of crap into a child’s bloodstream, or any protocol which makes them more susceptible to auto-immune disorders or cancer.
I was wondering about if work had been done to take into account an individual’s health profile before an individualized vax schedule could be designed and implemented for each person...willy nilly one size fits all vaxxing is stupid.
My recommendation is that you call Dr Cave’s office in Baton Rouge and ask. She is the expert, and she has testified IIRC in front of both Congress and the LA state legislature. She might charge you a consultation, but you’ll get more information in one hour talking with her than anywhere else.
Hmmm....Adults who, thanks to vaccines, lived long enough to argue about vaccines on the internet. Were blessed to live in such a country.
Question: What do you call an unvaccinated three-year-old in a third world country?
Answer: Middle-aged
