'Airwolf' star Jan-Michael Vincent died after suffering cardiac arrest, Age 74

Jan-Michael Vincent, a 1980s heartthrob who starred in "Airwolf," died at age 74.
Vincent's date of death was Feb. 10, but the news was made more known to the public today.
TMZ reports his death certificate says he suffered cardiac arrest while he was a patient at a North Carolina hospital. There was no autopsy, and his body was cremated.
Vincent's most recent work was a 2002 movie called "White Boy," and he has a long history of acting in films and on television. He played "Stringfellow Hawke" in "Airwolf."

I remember seeing him in
Damnation Alley with George Peppard. I was very disappointed in it because it strayed too far from the original book by Roger Zelazny which I thought, and still do, would make a great Post-apocalyptic film if handled right. He wasn't terrible in it as I recall. I also remember driving through LA in 78 or so and seeing the vehicle from the film sitting in a scrapyard. If I had not seen the movie I would never have known what it was.

Your father was wrong.
The Marine Corps drafted from 1966 to 1970. I was in boot camp in February 1970 when the announcement was made. Some of the recruits in my platoon were among the last to be drafted into the Corps.

The mechanic was a good movie.
Jan Michael Vincent was gorgeous so hot back in the day. My long time boyfriend in the 70s could have been his twin (Swedish American background).
