Dan Synder, and Bruce Allen have accomplished what was thought the impossible. They have produced two decades of mediocrity that turned one of the most rabid fan bases in the country into one of the most apathetic. This is shown in what was a waiting list for season tickets in the tens of thousands into no names on the list. In fact, it is a common sight at FedEx Field for teams with national followings, for example the 'Boys and Packers, to out draw Deadskin fans. Looks like instead of going into full tank mode for Tua or Trevor Lawrence the 'Skins will produce another middling season.

He lit it up in college ball. Not really sure why NFL success has eluded him.
McCoy also had flashes of competence with the Browns.

Many College QBs are fantastic in college then are mediocre at best in the NFL. Even Heisman winners. It’s a whole different ball game.................

If Case Keenum was worth a dang, does anyone think John Elway would be getting rid of him?.................

That’s a 50-50 proposition.
Why isn’t Snyder going after Tua?................

Washington was laughing at the Vikings when we took Kirk Cousins for 84 million.
Karma can be pretty nasty.

Seems to me to be another terrible move by Elway who so far has been just an awful team executive save his signing of Peyton Manning.
Spends a ton of money on Keenum after one decent year in Minnesota and then decides it was all a big mistake after one season and to get rid of him (after bringing in a even more questionable QB in Flacco) he has to agree to eat half his 2019 salary and only gains a 6th round 2020 pick in exchange for a 7th round 2020 pick.
For Washington it seems like a very low risk move to get a high upside QB who they at worst case can use as a solid backup while their share of his salary/cap hit is a backup level $3.5mm

Elway now has Flacco, a proven QB. Glad the Skins and Giants passed on him.

Isn’t he a bit long in the tooth?..................

Yes he is but maybe he’ll feel rejuvenated at the higher altitude. And the fact that he’s escaped the Planet of the Apes down where I’m stuck.

Elway is hoping for a Peyton Manning 2.0!...........................

At this juncture the question is: if Keenum was worth a dang does anyone think Elway would have ACQUIRED him.

At least Flacco can still sling fastballs.

Maybe Elway can rope a real bronco like Antonio Brown for Flacco to play catch with.
