The U.S. women's national team filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against the United States Soccer Federation on Friday in a fight over pay equity and working conditions.
According to court documents, all 28 members of the USWNT world championship team accused U.S. Soccer of years of "institutionalized gender discrimination," highlighting not just pay but also issues like medical treatment and transportation.
"The USSF has utterly failed to promote gender equality," the team alleges in the lawsuit. "It has stubbornly refused to treat its female employees who are member of the WNT equally to its male employees who are members of the MNT."

This won’t be a concern once the women are all replaced by transgenders.
The WNT have a great case of gender inequity. When the facts are known, it will be an open and shut case.
The other point that will get lost is money doesn’t buy success as the women’s team is much more successful on the world stage than their male counterparts in the sport of soccer.
The US Women’s team lost to a u15 high school boys team. Talented ? Yes, for girls. They don’t deserve the same money
When enough second string men decide they can be first string pretending to be women, women’s sports will be over.
The other point that will get lost is money doesn’t buy success as the women’s team is much more successful on the world stage than their male counterparts in the sport of soccer.

Sentence should read, ‘team was much more successful on the world stage...’. Being a political arm of the lbgtq world now takes priority over soccer, as evidenced by their woeful play in the recent Shebelieves cup. They won’t be winning any more tournaments. Not to mention their level of play is roughly equivalent to 12 and 13 year old boys.
So in other words ... the women's national team has a union, but it is apparently so ineffective that the players are seeking recourse in Federal court instead.

To be fair, they lost to a U15 boys academy team. Academy is the top of the amateur pyramid in US soccer. A decent boys high school team would probably easily beat them also.
They certainly have their share of lesbians as part of the lbgtq community. Interesting that they don’t also actively recruit transgenders onto the team.
The women got crushed 5-2 by 14-15 year old boys team. Apparently, the boys figured out very quickly that the BEST WOMAN’S TEAM IN THE WORLD was completely overmatched and went easy on them.
Simple fix: make women’s pro sports contracts for a share of the gate. Bring in the spectators, make more money.
“Share of the gate” would include TV, of course.
There needs to be a bunch of B rated soccer men players who declare themselves a woman.
They would be A+++ rated in the women’s league.
And destroy it for any real woman.
I agree with you. Those sentiments were on my mind but didn’t weave them into my comment on past performance.
My wife and I are going to France to see some matches in June. We are only going to 1 USWNT game as I figured we would see better soccer watching other teams.
I haven’t seen them play in years, but remember rainbow flags appearing in the stands at their games.
A freak show playing a man’s sport at half speed/half skill.
