Corey Booker, when Mayor of Newark, gets a 100 million dollar donation from Facebook to go toward aiding the school system. The result:
1) Majority of money unaccounted for
2) Buying out contracts of underperforming teachers who, by the way, in my very fast overview of looking into it all have filed lawsuits against the city claiming discrimination because they were… yep you guessed it… white
3) 60 million put into charter schools
4) … and millions more into “consultants”
So Corey Booker, Mayor of a city, gets 100 million dollars and the net result is money missing, people fired, and more money missing while consultants are called in:
