Purple is the color of Emperors, Kings and their upper level minions. I take their color choices seriously.
Yellow is the color of the resistance to total control of people by governments. I choose yellow.

The Democrat congress critter was on Chris Wallace. The context for making the “purple” wardrobe comment was preceded by her description of her district and constituents, thus, she was able to come on FOX, who is taking heat from the commies. (She did agree to come on FOX, and also to return, after Wallace extended an invitation.)
