scratchin my head...Boyd’s letter of 11/13/2017 to Goodlatte should have been addressed by the IG report of June 2018 to answer these things.

It’s the Sessions letter of 11/22/2017 to Huber that’s key, here.
Nothing I’ve seen says that order has been countermanded.

Why is it a big deal now, without knowing what else took place between then and now ?
(IG report released in June 2018. Sessions steps down 11/2018 - Whitacre replaces; IG report of 2019 )

I guess we need to know what transpired, correspondence-wise after the IG report was released ?
I have no desire to chase all that down again...

what piece am I missing ?
