On entertainment value....of the past forty years of wrestling, I would put him in the top ten. Him, the Great Kabuki, and Kamala...would all be in the top ten.
I’ll take Jimmy Superfly Snuka and Sgt. Slaughter over those guys.
Love King Kong Bundy!
But this article speaking as if professional wrestling is some form of actual combat.
Come on, come on.
But God bless you, King K. Bundy, one of the scariest looking bald men ever!
I don’t know if the two ever met in the ring, but I would have loved to see a match between King Kong Bundy and Bam Bam Bigelow. Two of the greatest big men in the history of professional wrestling.
Jim Hart :)
Probably some of the worst theatrics in American history :)
But I loved it as a kid.
A shame that frontal lobe has to grow larger and ruin all the fun!
It’s remarkable that he made it as long as he did. The dude weighed in at over 4 and a half bills!
The Bundy’s from Married with Children got their name after him. The show’s creators were big wrestling fans.
Condolences to family and friends of King Kong Bundy. R.I.P. Thank you sir.
I will body-slam my wife in tribute.
Saw him wrestle Hulk Hogan for the title at the old spectrum.
I will body-slam my wife in tribute.
Also, I believe Steve and Marcy Rhodes were named after Dusty Rhodes.
Yep. And King Kong Bundy was on one of the episodes.
RIP King Kong. He was a relic from the day the WWF(E) was not 100% ‘roiders.
Imagine the reaction from the Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) if the WWE rolled out a new Kamala like character. The networks broadcasting the WWE would pull the programming from the air.
Sgt Slaughter turning good was one of the greatest moments in wrestling history.
Sgt Slaughter turning good was one of the greatest moments in wrestling history.
Chief J Strongbull would crush Bundy with his “tomahawk chop” ENOUGH SAID!
