I would pause for minutes, look around minutes more, then ask to have the question restated...

If done by someone who could go the distance, that could be uproariously funny. And if sleazes like Nadler got all upset it would heighten the comedy.

👍 I'm with you. Call them Communists to their faces and them plead the 5th.

Yeah you are right.

And I’m in no shape to even partake in one.

Every now and then everything gets to me.

But there IS a war already being waged.

A lot of MAGA garment wearers have been bloodied.

I don’t know...

It's not that sweeping.

The protections only apply to themselves while in session, or traveling to and from. It doesn't extend to any law enforcement.

This means that Democrats in the House can endlessly harass people by issuing subpoenas for investigation, and they can even make false and defamatory statements in their floor or committee speeches, but then can't go about knocking down doors at midnight.

They also can't steal, like House Democrats did with the House Banking Scandal where several were arrested for check kiting. Also the House Post Office scandal where they were laundering money through stamp purchases.

I listen to Dan Bongino a lot, and he walked through it...given his past job with the Obama Adminstration as the Director of DIA, he knew his phone calls with foreign officials were always monitored and surely knew in his new job with the Trump Administration they would be as well.

So he knew they would have a transcript. Why would he lie?

The truth is, he didn’t lie, they didn’t think he lied, and there was nothing to lie about.

The dirty rat bastiges probably went through the transcript of his call until they found something he made a mistake on or mis-remembered.

Scum.

“WHERE THE HELL IS THE RNC?!!! Threatening the republican congress critters if they don’t intervene!!”

The RNC is a sorrier sack of crap than the people they put up for public office, what with Rona ROMNEY McDaniels as its Chairwoman. Notice since her uncle showed up in the Senate, she’s dropped the ROMNEY!

While Sessions was on the sideline, there was a feud between McCabe and Rosenstein in May of 2017 according to a fox news article printed last October.

If not that, they’ll just go through his tax returns or his son’s affairs and let him know that they’re about to drop the hammer on anyone and everyone near him.

I haven’t heard his name much, has he even been sentenced? Last I heard they delayed that, again.

No crimes were committed and the only real risk anyone runs is by testifying because Nadler and the DemonShits can twist any good faith witnesses’ testimony into fake perjury, which they intend to do. Hence, it’s essential for each witness to take the Fifth and there’s no stigma in doing it.

I think that the “I don’t recall” gambit only works for Democrats.

Well, I will regretfully agree with you he should have known better. He expected them to act like fellow Americans.

We know this was his mindset because Strozk and the other FBI agent (forget his name) showed up at the White House and he invited them in, no attorney, nothing. He thought he and the FBI agents were doing the work of people making government work for the citizenry, not doing the work of vindictive Leftists looking to throw a man in jail and spy on others for their own political purposes...which is EXACTLY what they were doing.

He had no other expectation other than doing things to help the governing process. Little did he know.

I would hope nobody else makes that mistake ever again.

I have a feeling...just a feeling...that this is going to be thrown out.

It is probably wishful thinking, but there was some oddness going on with the last few court appearances with Flynn where the judge was getting nasty with him, and some people were speculating he was TRYING to get Flynn to ask for a delay in sentencing, and Flynn wasn’t picking up what the judge was putting down, and the judge apparently got pretty exasperated.

I think the judge knew this is all political theater, and was trying to help knowing the longer it went on, the more likely the whole case would fall apart. I could be wrong, though.

These are all fishing expeditions - plead the Fourth Amendment - no improper search and seizure without specific charges and cause - just don’t comply until a court orders it......

Exactly. And many do not even feel bad. They are indifferent or worse.

I do not care if Manafort and Cohen are crooks. They have been railroaded!!

I was glad of his selection at first. I became less so afterwards.

I wrote him off as corrupt and complicit the day after he was confirmed.

I have never had cause to rethink that, and have been dismayed by his apologists.
