But consider vote harvesting schemes have affected (and can affect) only ONE
body of the Federal government: the House of Representatives........
- No matter how much vote harvesting they do, it will not affect the Senate (there are already two democrats from California).
-No matter how much vote harvesting they do, it will not affect the Presidency (California's number of electors is fixed until the next census, and the number of VOTES does not affect electoral allocation).
-No matter how much vote harvesting they do, it will not affect the Courts (California has a say in the population of the courts only through its senators, which are already chosen, and both are already democrats).
- California will likely LOSE representatives after the 2020 census, with illegal immigration being thwarted and a citizenship question likely being on the 2020 census (currently being litigated in court). (hat tip cotton 1776)
I'm guessing Ed Rendell was suppose to tell the folks who do voter fraud for democrats how many votes were needed to stuff the ballot boxes - and that he got the number WRONG...
