SELMA, Ala. Speaking Sunday at the historic Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church, former Secretary of State, First Lady, and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton suggested a key Supreme Court decision may have cost her the White House.(snip)
I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act and I will tell you, it makes a really big difference, Clinton said.
Clinton prefaced her comments by discussing the history of the Voting Rights Act, which was passed in 1965. The law required federal oversight of voting in nine southern states and an array of other jurisdictions that were found to have engaged in discriminatory practices. Clinton noted the law was reauthorized by Congress in 2006 while she was in the Senate.
It was based on thousands and thousands of pages of testimony as to why we ... needed the Voting Rights Act. I thought it was a done deal, passed out of the Congress, signed by a Republican president, and then it found its way to the Supreme Court, Clinton recounted.
Clinton said Republicans who wanted to pull back rights were behind the legal challenge that brought the 2013 Supreme Court decision, in which conservative justices struck down the core of the law.
They found a receptive Supreme Court who came up with the most absurd decision, said Clinton, adding, They gutted the Voting Rights Act.(snip)
It doesnt just make a difference in Alabama and Georgia. It made a difference in Wisconsin where the best studies that have been done said somewhere between 40,000 and 80,00 thousand people were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin, because of their age, because of whatever excuse could be made up to stop a fellow American citizen from voting, Clinton said.

add in Obama, his fellow marxist muslim ilk , the UN Globalist conglomerate, the medias....
the conspiracy against western man is far larger than you portray!
They tried to kick the spokes out of the hub, America.
Everything worked great until Hillary showed up
Wisconsin wasn’t one of those states.
Fair enough, Hillary. Name one.
And when will Hillary stop coming up with reasons to explain her loss? (Rhetorical question, of course.)
Are they going to keep this up if Trump wins in 2020?
Reminds me of the MASH episode where Henry Blake reads back to Klinger a list of excuses Klinger has used as a reason for a discharge. ...
Sister’s pregnant.
Mother’s pregnant.
Mother and sister pregnant.
Sister pregnant and Mother dying.
Mother pregnant and sister dying.
Sister and mother pregnant and father dying.
Oldie but a goodie. .half the family pregnant and half the family dying.
“I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act and I will tell you, it makes a really big difference, Clinton said.”
It sure as hell did sweetie, and the decent people of this country will be forever grateful that it did.
Boo F’n Hooo, you still lost, now go home and cook cookies for your grandchild. Its over Hillary, Trump did 100x more that you would have done to make America Great.
“And when will Hillary stop coming up with reasons to explain her loss? (Rhetorical question, of course.)”
When they slide that concrete top onto her “below ground” final resting place. I hope that the fact that she lost eats on her for the rest of what will hopefully be a short life.
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!
We’ve got video of people bragging about their personal knowledge if illegal collusion between party, candidate and PACs as well as voter fraud including 50 years of bussing folks in and they couldn’t steal the election for Hillary.
... though they did a lot better stealing elections in ‘18.
FALSE! H. Clinton and D.J. Trump were the first TWO persons who...
Yes, I'm sure some election official was standing right there, next to the entrance to the polls, saying, "You, there - with the dark skin! Vamoos!"
Ridiculous!
Regards,
Ever notice how liberals/Democrats NEVER blame their bad ideas for their defeat? It’s always “voter suppression” or “republican cheating” It’s never “people don’t like the thought of surrendering their entire life’s savings to the government to distribute as largess to lazy bums.”
I think it was that she had to be thrown into that van like a bag of potatoes, couldn’t say more than three sentences without coughing up a furball, had a weird association with weirdos like spirit cooker Podesta who hangs child porn art on his walls, and she was close with the pedophile Epstein.
She obviously took hundreds of millions in bribes through being secretary of state.
She destroyed evidence of that which was under subpoena.
And worst of all she called half of America deplorable and told coal miners to their FACE that she was going to kill their jobs.
She’s a cruel heartless drunken bitch and everyone can see it.
And she DARES bitch about Wisconsin? She never made ONE SINGLE CAMPAIGN STOP there!
So... this is the fiftieth reason she has given for her loss? And she still has not addressed the two true ones: one, she was a terrible candidate who didn’t even campaign in a number of swing states (mainly for health reasons and that the more she campaigned the worse her numbers were); and two, she had enough baggage to fill the 20th Century Limited twice. The Voting Rights Act? Ha!
Did you notice how when Trump says anything at all they write “ without offering any proof” but when Dems speak they conveniently leave that out. They love the fake statistics for their fake stories.
Back in her hectoring lecturing mode. She has learned nothing and doesn’t realize she is now a political dinosaur.
SCOTUS? Sotomayor, Kagan, Ginsburg... that SCOTUS?
