DEMOCRATS ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE GETTING HOUNDED BY VOTERS FOR SHYING AWAY FROM THE GREEN NEW DEAL

**SNIP**

“That resolution will not pass the Senate, and you can take that back to whoever sent you here,” Feinstein told a group of children from the Bay Area who spoke with her in her office. She added, “I’ve been in the Senate for a quarter of a century, and I know what can pass, and I know what can’t pass.” She was crafting an alternate resolution, she said, which has a “much better chance of passing.” That, of course, is not remotely true. A Senate controlled by McConnell is about as likely to pass a resolution written by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as one penned by Feinstein, even if Feinstein’s is much more moderate and does not push to turn the economy around in 12 years. The current debate is over what Democrats plan to implement if and when they take power — not what Trump will sign tomorrow.

“I am for the call to action,” Delgado told his constituents, listing off a number of priorities, including green jobs and ending fossil fuel subsidies, though he was less clear on what that would precisely look like. Rather, Delgado said that he was interested in policies that presented change in the short term — closing the door, at least for now, on the more long-term goals of the Green New Deal.

“It’s not what we want 15, 20, 30 years from now,” said Delgado. “What can we get done right now?”

Your astute observation is yet another waste of reasoning since the commie pinko control freaks declared themselves the arbiters of all knowledge.

Actually there have been plans for an underwater maglev train that could cross.oceans. The Trains are in vacuum steel and concrete tubes that are buoyant they are suspended from the sea floor on anchors like oil rigs use on tension leg platforms. the tube would be 100 to 200 feet underwater the whole way. this puts the tube out of any conceivable storm wave base and below the deepest keel of shipping. being buoyant and in constant tension to the seafloor means the tubes cannot drift laterally or in depth they are fixed with the exception of cable stretch but just as with rigs the cables can be pre tensioned to remove any slack from strain.

There are already underwater tunnels with similar engineering that cross.fjords in Norway but with cars and rails. at 200 feet subsea even pulling a hard vacuum in the tubes only adds 14.5 psi to the structural loads its miniscule compared to what prestresses concrete can take in compression think 15000 psi.

the reason for the vacuum is maglevs have no limit on speed one can make the propulsion magnetic.wave as fast as electronics can be switched as in nanoseconds. in a vacuum a maglev could exceed.mach 5 without any air resistance or frictional heating it would be a hyperloop on steroids the technology all exists today. cost estimates run into the high hundreds of.billions but it could be done from an engineering stand point. this is how you cross an ocean with out flying. I believe the show extreme engineering did an episode on this concept a few yesrs back.

it’s up to the GOP to publish the details

There won't be any details.

This is why the delegation of legislative powers by Congress to unelected agencies should be unconstitutional.

The law will read, "To prevent the death of all species and to preserve the environment, it is the policy of the United States to go Green, and the Secretary of Greenness will publish such regulations as are necessary in the Federal Register".

I don’t want to hear, “people are dying”, so long as we’re wholesale killing babies for the sake of birth control...and body part distribution to the highest bidders.

Imagine what a rogue nation with submarines could do to that system.

That is, after all the fossil fuel-powered airliners are scrapped and airports are reconfigured as sites for free low-income housing.

thanks didn’t know that. Wonder how they would be supported even that far down, and how those would be constructed when the depths are in the thousands of feet

Yes....Democrats are dying politically. The hate in Hillary Clinton cost her the POTUS slot. When her (Clinton) hate filled mind & mouth uttered “Deplorables” is what Trump supporters all are, she lost the POTUS race.

And...I can assure you...the Democrat Party is now on the same road as Hillary Clinton was and still is on. Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, Schiff, Comey, Booker, Harris, Sanders, O’Rourke, Castro, Ocasio-Cortez, etc., all are on the same Road of Hate.

It’s actually worse these days. Now...The current Democrat Party has extended its hate to Jews, Israeli’s and Americans, etc. Cuba & Venezuela are admired, loved and adored by large sectors of the Democrat Party.

I do have a piece of advice for the some 23-25 “Blue Dag: Democrats...switch political parties now and become Republicans or, you will soon be one time congress critters.

The Democrat Party actually died in 2016. It is just waiting for it’s self-inflicted burial in 2020. Trump will win again!!!
