You are welcome-Thanks for responding. We sometimes have snow in April. I don’t like to plant and then transplant. I like to direct sow. So mostly, I’ll be waiting impatiently for April 1 which is when the taters will be planted.

However, I am thinking about planting a spring cover crop mix to turn under at the end of May before planting corn in June.
Hubby does all the early starting and planting. So I wait several weeks before planting my corn -avoids cross pollination with his.

Our next door neighbor saved my back side and my back, plowing the blown snow off our driveway today. He charged me two Bud Lights...
