HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Alabama police say a dispute over crab legs at a dinner buffet ended in a brawl that left two people facing misdemeanor charges.
Huntsville police officer Gerald Johnson says he was eating at the Meteor Buffet restaurant when a fight broke out.

I’ve seen elderly white people here in Florida kick arse when it comes to crab leg night at Golden Corral.
It’s as if there is some powerful hormone that converts them from wobbly, feeble walker-skuffers to ravenous sinewy wolves on first sight of a steaming pile of crustaceans.

I was in line for the buffet at a KFC a few years ago when the server dumped a basket of drumsticks on the buffet. I only had a couple in front of me and I thought well I will get some drumsticks today. Then the wife opened up a purse the size of a piece of luggage and her partner proceeded to dump all the legs in the aluminum foil lined purse. They missed one drumstick, I got it.
I did not hit anyone with the tongs but the thought occurred to me. The woman would tip the scales at about 300 pounds the guy with her maybe 140. I figured she was a walking heart attack and he had to be hungry, so they needed them worse than I did. Ever notice that a fat woman always has a skinny guy with her? I figure either he is working himself to a frazzle to keep her fed or he is afraid to dig in till she is done and she don’t leave much. My mind does work in strange ways but it keeps me entertained.
