Lincoln Police cited a man who they say admitted he put pieces of wet paper all over his neighbor's car.
LPD said a 28-year-old man reported on Monday the paper was put on his car in the 4600 block of Tipperary Trail.
The victim believed his neighbor was responsible, as the two had prior disputes, according to Lincoln Police.
The neighbor, identified as Dana Turner, told police he had done it because the car was parked on the wrong side of the road during the snow parking ban.
When officers asked why he didn't call them to resolve the issue, Turner reportedly said he "didn't think of it," and that police probably had "other things to do."
The victim told police it took him hours to scrape all the paper off his vehicle.
Turner was cited for disturbing the peace.

I have heard that isopropyl alcohol also works.

It might be an old wives tale, however a lot of it probably has to do with changes in Glass Technology over the years.
I would exercise on the better part of caution especially if I had to get in that car and drive to work in order to meet or beat the clock.
Once an idiot parked me into a spot I couldn’t get out of until someone else eventually returned to their car and left so I could move.
The window was open on the idiot’s car.
I left a present for him on the driver’s seat.
Back in college we were on a field trip and stayed a few weeks in an old motel. The owner kept yelling at us for not parking the trucks in our spots.
One night we got back in and someone was parked in one of our spots. Well, we didn’t want the owner to get mad at us. About 10 of us moved the car a foot at a time, over the curb, and up onto the lawn.

Birdbox challenge...
Someone parked their car at the foot of my driveway the morning of Mardi Gras day, blocking us in so we couldn’t get out. The police and towing are way too busy. So I broke raw eggs all over the windows. The car sat and baked in the sun all day. Around midnight I heard the owner come back, cursing and hollering.
I had a windshield crack on a cold overnight on a brand new car, but now that I read your posts, maybe it was due to being installed improperly.
Ah, the good old days before surveillance cameras everywhere!
