That is not an accurate quote. That is the point, it was not “well said.”

Here below is the quote as it appeared in my post...

The ONLY thing I changed, and forgot about, was “I’ve” to “I”. And I did it because the sentence had an obvious typo, having both “I’ve” and “have” in it.
ie,
“I’ve no longer have the whole “How could anyone do this?” reaction.”
vs
“I no longer have the whole “How could anyone do this?” reaction.”
Then, following the quote, I made my own comment to clarify why I agreed with it ("Well said").
“In other words, sometimes it doesn’t pay to try and understand the thought process of someone who would do something like this. The act of trying to understand may be hazardous to your own mental health.”
