Yeah. Not sure what it is with the Russians. When Yeltsin was President, they had a missile warning happen. He was on his lips and decided not to launch his missiles.

One of my last entrances into Busan harbor was one of my more memorable ones. The weather was too bad for the pilots to come out to my ship, high seas & high winds and strong current. The officer on the radar got excited that the ship was pointed right at the breakwater. I explained “crabbing” to him as we came in hot a little bit sideways.
