I am SURE literally tens of millions in India would look upon visiting the USA like going to another planet.
I’m fine with that.
To the left, everything is about race.
If by that she means waaaaay overpriced for what you get...yeah, I agree.
What do you call a knitter who is also a snow flake?
Man, people love to work themselves up enough to be offended. Let it be.
It used to be (a couple years ago) that if you put 2 people together, one would find offense in the other.
Today, one person on his/her/it’s own is offended on their own
Strange days, indeed.
Maybe it’s only knitters. I belong to a quilt guild in Houston we have people of color and men.
This crap really needs to stop.
Knittas 4 life. Word.
“Colonialist/Imperialist mindset”
No normal person spews such nonsense.
Why do honkies CRAVE guilt..?
Why does being tarred by vapid accusations SATIFY them..?
In secular people do such accusations tap into a residual sense of ORIGINAL SIN..?
To some, another planet would be Tatooine or Vulcan.
Idiot Abroad was based on this concept. Although instead of a fascination pulling him to foreign lands, he was dragged there for his discomfort to be a joke.
Why would anyone take offense at another’s desire to travel and experience a wholly different culture?
Isn’t the whole point of traveling to experience something different?
People from all over the world come to the western US to experience big trees, big mountains, and wide-open spaces.
Is that colonialist/imperialist?
Nothing brings together a bunch of liberals faster than something that’s none of their damn business
I had a roommate whose grandmother had knitted him a blanket with a different black girl in each square to keep him company at knight.
Same grandmother had crocheted him a wall plague with a black girl in a UT cheerleader outfit and UT flags that had the caption:
“Tell me quick before I faint
Is you for UT or is you aint?”
To poster moron “Alex”: Please look up the word exotic
We cannot continue to live with leftists. They are poisonous.
I’ve felt somewhat alien in some places in America, so I’m pretty sure that feeling would be strengthened considerably if I were in India. I believe it is normal to feel that way when you don’t know the food, language, customs, etc.
Now, if she had asked me about India, I would have told her I’ve never given a rip about it. Would that make her feel better?
Racism everywhere!
