I’m wondering what a jock strap for a female looks like?

I played football against Central Methodist back in the day, they were a bad NIAA Division II program. They aren't any better now.

Most NFL receivers are taller than NFL safeties. When they are tossed a ball that makes them have to reach up for it, the safety is unlikely to get the ball. That is when the safety hits them hard to make them drop the reception. Like I said though, I doubt she will last long. We will see though.

She’s a D-Back? Probably only go in on nickel/dime situations.
Saw the headline and thought for sure she was a kicker.

It’s not D3, it’s NAIA.
No athletic scholarships at NCAA D3 level.
To: so_real
She’s playing now at a California junior college.
I don’t think NAIA is that much tougher.

Abject stupidity public stunt.
Women cannot compete at high levels physically against men. They simply cannot.

Funny, I just watched the first episode of 'Whiskey Cavalier'. (Only because of Lauren Cohan).
One of the lines was, 'What's the female equivilent of a jockstrap?'
'Sports bra.'

Don’t know who they play, but I bet the players overall are undersized compared to most of college football

Brave girl. I wish her success. And in this instance, I do not care what gender she wants to choose to be today. :)

It aint nice to hit girls. She plays Free Safety. She will do most of the hitting, albeit against slightly bigger players... but some TEs can get huge. She will be assisting Cornerbacks on coverage of bigger and faster WRs.
The real problem will be when a running back breaks through the first level, and is running at her, top speed. Plenty of hammerhead Fullbacks weighing 250 pounds who LOVE initiating contact... and they aren't looking to see where the girl is... they'll ram a brick wall if it is in front of them.

I was curious. Carroll County, Maryland, 1989, Tawana Hammond. The case was dismissed and the family also lost on appeal. They sued for $1.2 million because they hadnt been warned of the dangers of playing football. The judge said the the school didnt need to state the obvious. And the dad signed a waiver.

5’7”, 164 lbs; more likely that she may get lucky and get tangled up in a receivers ankles, at which point it’s You Go Girl !
