Volvo did open a billion dollar + plant is S. Carolina last year.

Besides the SC plant, Polestar has contracted capacity in China.
Tesla should worry, I mean, Volvo has been unstoppable in the US car market. ;^)
The presentation mimics the Steve Jobs shows for Apple and NeXt, I'm not buying the alleged spontanaeity of the crowd reaction, btw.
