Michael Cohen, testifying before the Congressional committee, has just laid on a thick swathe of LIES about Donald Trump, trying to save his own derriere. It was totally disgusting, a trained seal honking and clapping his flippers together to get that herring. Anyone listening to this noisome recital probably has a strong urge to jump headfirst into the nearest shower, feeling besmirched by the sheer tonnage of schmears, innuendos, and untruths. Poor Mr. Cohen simply wants to unburden himself of the heinous things Mr. Trump forced him to do, don't you see. Point by point, our trained seal went through beloved dummocrap talking points, aiming to please. Anything to ameliorate his own position as a rat caught in his own lies. Really, it was just horrible.
Another aspect of the testimony I could have lived without was the dullard Elijah Cummings slowly and tediously calling for votes. His bovine manner gave rise to an image of a large and ponderous creature with rheumy eyes, slowly reading from a Congress for Dummies guidebook.
As I look into the eyes of Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, I’m reminded of how fortunate I am to be single.
This is like a Soviet Show Trial.

i.e. I’m not interested in people saying he’s a liar. I want to see what he said so I can say, “he sounds like a liar.”
I’m really not seeing much evidence here. I’m not saying I believe anything he says. Rather, I don’t find much value in reading a thread where all I’m really seeing is posts complaining about his ethics. It’s like reading a thread where everybody complains about the weather, without really saying what the weather is like.
To think, if he had kept his mouth shut he would have had his pardon long before he finished his prison term. Now he will rot in prison before DJT pardons him.

I find it difficult to believe Cohen will be above ground for much longer. Nobody likes a rat, especially a self-serving rat. And his face just says “Please kick my ass”.

Cohen contends that Trump had him continue working on a Russian deal well into the campaign, even while Trump had denied any Russian deal was being negotiated.
One would naturally ask why Trump continued a deal he’d lied about when, if a deal were concluded, that would ruin all Trump’s credibility. Cohen tried to tie up that loose end by claiming Trump did not expect to win the presidency, and did not want to win. He just wanted a big, profitable investment in Russia to make himself wealthier.
Cohen said Trump didn't expect to win. His campaign was the 'greatest infomercial ever'.
Then Cohen claimed 'Trump would do anything to win'.

I’m getting tired of all the “Donald Trump is a (full in the blank)” squawking with no shred of proof ever offered to back it up.
Now I have to listen to my stupid liberal brother in law shouting “See? See? I told you he was a (fill in the blank)!”
Unless Cohen has video evidence of a crime, he needs to just go away.

I know Trump is busy this week, but when he returns, he should start outing all the congressmen who paid off their whores with taxpayer money. What’s he waiting for?

Cohen is probably typical of a contingent of former Trump confidants from New York City who feel utterly betrayed by Trump. He paraded around as a NYC liberal for years ... and then turned into the kind of president who makes Reagan look like Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Trump hired Ben Carson to be the head of HUD so using Cohen’s measurement, Trump can’t be a racist.
