Reminds me of my slight rant from years ago. I would take my kids out to the park often when they were young to give my wife a break. Quite often one of the moms would say something like “So you’re babysitting the kids today!”
“Um. No. I’m their dad.”
And I’m guessing the mourning dove dad would and “And hey - it beats digging around for food.”
That’s a neat photo. Amazing how the little guys blend in so well. (A good attribute to have when you can’t fly yet!)

Thank you for the ping Islander7, and thank you for the dove radu 😊 I missed the window on pjs Great Blue Heron thread from the other day, but will share my comment here - hubby was out casting for mullet and we laughed and laughed, watching as a very beautiful, and clearly Smart one, spent the afternoon with us, plucking mullet from our bucket LOL So many blessings 😉 Tatt
