But what will all the homeless people pee in?
Single use plastics!?
What about single use rubbers?
Just print each one with “Wash and Reuse”.
That’s what our new plastic grocery bags say.
No pool noodles?
What will the kids play with in the pool?
Here you go Bobby! Play with this nice anvil. San Diego doesnt want their children floating.
How about truck drivers?
Lemon Gatorade alongside the freeway.
Elected bureaucrats telling the people what they can do and can’t do. Very Naziesque. We’re supposed to be telling THEM how the cow ate the cabbage.
Ha!
Illegal aliens do not care, they will use the styro, and then litter, of course. It's what they do.
"Homeless"? Same M.O. Littering is sport with them.
Why does not San Diego make littering illegal, instead.
(Hint, it already is. Their law will accomplish nothing, litterwise.)
.
Pool noodles are cross linked polyethylene foam, so they aren’t affected. But they are probably next on the list
Of course all that foam board they put up on buildings is polystyrene too. Pick and choose where you want plastic I guess if you’re a politician.
As a resident of the county, this fortunately only affects the city of San Diego, although its boundaries are huge and abut a number of other municipalities in a 90-mile x 70-mile area. The city has a feckless RINO for its mayor, and a council that are Occasional-Cortex Commie clones.
Pretty soon anyone entering California will have to show proof of taking a half day class (within 1 year) on what you can and can’t do in the Peoples Kommunist State.
The border of CA will be like the one with Mexico except people will be checked going into CA. Bizarro world continues.
Maybe we should just go ahead and build a wall around CA now and get it over with. Put one around Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland too.
So, if I find a pile of styrene or some other “banned” plastic, what am I to do with it?
I used to be able to take it to the sanitary landfill, and it would be contained and safely buried. Now it’s not allowed there, so what am I to do with it?
Oh well, I suppose I’ll just toss it into this stream that runs to the sea, where it will magically disappear.
I swear, the politicians and enviro-nuts keep getting stupider by the second!
I’m glad San Diego solved all its other problems that they can focus on this.
first their going to "fix" the indian vote by requiring more voting places on the rez AND they're going to loosen up the sticky little info of where the indian actually lives ( I suspect indians kind of wander over to whatever rat state needs them, like in the dakotas).
now they are banning selling smokes to people under 21....
talking about banning plastic bags, raising more gas tax to "fix the roads" as all ways, and if they get their way we'll have an income tax pretty soon...
in Portlandia, you have to ask for a straw and they you'll be told you can buy a metal one for $10....
Surf boards too. Their core is polystyrene. Surfing banned in CA.
Yep - totally racist to ban these toys by labeling them “single use”...poor kids hurt the worst and further humiliated by seeing other kids owning stuff designed for more than one use.....
Mix your styrofoam with gasoline and store it in glass bottles .You just made napalm which you might need living in that state.

San Diego residents should feel much safer now, but lets not talk about any more border walls, or any other measures to stem the tide of foreign national invaders.
