I wonder what the numbers are for F->M entering athletic competitions and being competitive to the “true-male” opponents?

I'm only aware of a small handful - less than 5 - and they compete in events that aren't big money making events - like triathlon or marathons. Almost all naturally born women can't compete in speed, power, or endurance events. Skill events probably but not in the others.

In fact, the only one I know where men and women compete side by side is the Olympic (style) Sport Shooting.

That's it.

And it's considered a women's sport for Title IX reasons since it's inclusive of both.
