Happy Sunday all!
I’m thinking the lineup is WWII themed but am not sure what Jubilee and New World A’ Coming is...and don’t know what a Radio Hall of Fame from ‘44 is...
How are you?
Hi, Guys! How’s it going? It’s finally a beautiful, mild sunny day here after a couple of weeks of off and on heavy fog, day and night.
Whoa! That’s a very uncool windshield story! We need a new one on one of our cars, too. Down here with the salty, sandy beach wind, the glass gets etched over time.
Yeah, it’ll be in the 30’s the next couple of nights, but we finally get a couple days of sunny 60’s before the rain and fog moves back in. I might actually get some small things done around here - I’ve felt like I’ve been hibernating in my burrow for most of the last three months. Connie’s been sleeping on the sofa since her surgery because it’s more comfortable to her than the bed, and after she got home from work yesterday, she and the cats curled up with the quilts, and she’s been binge-watching ‘House’ on the Roku ever since.
Oh, poor Connie! I hope she heals up quickly.
At least with the nicer weather, you can get out of her hair and do some CHORES! :-D
Working on that. Trying to get some hand-made poppers and surface lures ready - the country lake is having a tournament next week. I want the garage to be as spotless as possible. My step-son called it quits with his wife, so he’s temporarily shacking up here, and I have a couple of things for him to help me with to pay his freight. And part of that involves helping me get an omnidirectional TRAM mast antenna mounted outside for my 11 meter rig. I’ve been falling a good bit lately, and ladders and I don’t play well together, so I’ll need someone to spot me. Plus, since my initial disability request got rejected (they always do, unless you’re already getting some end-of-life medical care), I got the disability law firm of Dewey, Cheatem, & Howe (think about that for a moment, heh heh heh), taking my case, and after reviewing my medical conditions, they think I’ll win it. I don’t want to fall off a ladder and kill myself before the appeal is brought up for adjudication.
Yes, be graceful on those ladders, Vike! :-)
