To: Leaning Right

I can’t watch I Love Lucy or the Dick Van Dyke Show nowadays... I guess when I was a kid I wasn’t bothered about them being little more than shows about show business. Now I find them both irritating at best.

M*A*S*H is another one I can not bring myself to watch now. Why I watched it all those years ago after Wayne Rogers left is a mystery to me now.

The Simpsons? Yeah, until season ten, at which point it was hooked up to a PC drip and has been in a coma ever since.

The Simpsons still being on the air baffles me. I literally remember saying to myself that the show had jumped the shark after watching the Tomacco episode which had to has been about 20 years ago. I predicted it is imminent demise at that time.

M*A*S*H is where I was introduced to politics. My older brothers would mock and jeer Alda. I was curious why and asked. The rest is history.

I will only watch the first three seasons of MASH and that it it. After that the show got to be the Alan Alda rant and I gave up on it.
