Route 66, 77 Sunset Strip, Surfside 6, The Untouchables, M-Squad, Combat!, The Rifleman and Sea Hunt. All favorites, in or about, the 1960-’64 time frame. Good stuff!

, back in those days they didn’t want TV characters to get married.

And if they did get married, they were often
shown to sleep in separate beds.

One of my favorites is the episode starring a young Robert Conrad.

Oh, that reminds me. I should have included
Black Sheep Squadron. Conrad was in another
historical drama of the early US. He played
a fur trapper with the least believable French
accent you ever heard. I have to believe he
was miserable doing it.

I got the DVD set of Rock Hudson and Suzan St James’ McMillan and Wife. Watched maybe three episodes and hung it up. What I really enjoyed was the way more expensive DVD set of China Beach. It cost more because the royalties for the great music in it drove the cost. It’s available cheaper, but without the great tunes.

The DVD set of “Northern Exposure” uses some different music from the broadcast episodes.

The wife and I are on our second time through Downton Abbey. Great show, can’t recommend it enough and all episodes are available on Amazon Prime.
