He needs to get his tires and rims off and put junk ones on. Where does one find junk tires and rims? Quickly size 5x114.3 lug
Is that something junk yards would have?
Ask a tire store. They may have takeoffs.
A junkyard.
Yes and new tires shops have them too
Check with discount tire stores...

Junkyard for sure, as long as the wheels fit you are good to go.
Here’s wishing your son a complete recovery.
On just about any vehicle driven by a crimalien.
Any local auto wrecker/recycler will have lots, for a reasonable price.
You don’t do ebay?
By the way, God bless your son and I hope he fully recovers. I’m glad you said he is okay.
I fear that MI drivers smoking their newly legal marijuana while texting each other, will eat a Big Mac meal balanced on their knees, apply makeup and have hallucinations about flying a 747 over the Grand Canyon as they head toward me on my side of the highway head on.
God forbid for all of us.
Say hi to Fred Sanford at his junkyard and tell him we still love his old show.
“Where can I find junk used tires on junk rims?”
Sorry about your son, and certainly glad he’ll be ok!
As to your answer I was going to say (based on the title above only): “On UAW-built cars”
A wrecking yard. But though the worn tires might be relatively cheap expect to pay top dollar for even used rims. Steel rims will be cheapest. If you just lookin to be able to move it. Check out used junk undersized temporary spares

It’s a networked series of junkyards.
Typically used tires run for $18.
A set of 4 rims will cost about $300, I think.
They are on display near checkout; these tires and rims are always used.
Why bother? Count your blessings that he lived. Are his wheels expensive? Yes, you can find them on Craigslist, eBay, or junk yards. I don’t like junk yards because they charge too much. I’ve done pulls at junk yards but you have to shop around for inexpensive yards, and it’s hard to find uncommon stuff which is why I hit the ads for ease of searching. Usually people scrap junk rims unless they’re vintage.
I’m guessing that isn’t going to happen if the car is impounded
Yes.
Oh my you have been through a lot. Is this the same son you asked for prayers for last week?
here in L.A, we have tons. The biggest one is called LKQ the size of 10 football fields..a junkyard that is organized.
YOU take out the parts pretty much from the cars. and tires are $5 and rims $10. sweet deal. If you are not at least mechanically inclined, bring someone else bec. no one will help you there except take your money..
Go to the shady part of town. I just bought a pair of used tires for $65/each and put a set of 4 traction tires for $125/each from a discount tire place on the wrong side of tracks. That price was mounted and balance. The owner was a real nice guy.
