It's pretty unusual to experience any difficulties with posting in HTML on this site. Whenever I've had trouble in the past, it has always turned out to be something I'm doing (or not doing) with the code.
That said, something does appear to have changed with the way FR displays pages embedded with HTML. In the last couple of months I've noticed that the software isn't automatically wrapping longish URLs as it normally does.
Instead of breaking a long URL into chunks so that it fits the page, FR is shrinking the whole page to fit the URL. It's doing the same thing with oversized images. Also, quite a few images are no longer displaying at all.
Good catch. :)
I have noticed this too. But some of the image problems may be the source. Some sources are getting pretty good at not letting them display on other sites or if you have script blocking on your browser.
In a way this is a good thing though. This means there may be stuff in that file we really don’t want anyways. This is when you start a community generated list of sites to be boycotted. They don’t want the referrals? Don’t give them any hits then.
Can’t have your cake and eat it too if you are going to insist on all proprietary content. You can’t shut off all your sharable content and then still expect referral hits. Referral hits from what? A blank frame?
Also, quite a few images are no longer displaying at all.
I’m running a Mozilla browser, SeaMonkey. When I load up the problem page in my Chrome browser, they display. It has to be something in the browser, but I can’t figure what.
