The Chinese have a huge opening if they can figure out their audiences.

I don’t know, most Americans are too lazy to watch a movie with subtitles.

Most dubbed Chinese movies I have seen are almost unwatchable. Even the movies that were described as classics.

You need to get out more.

There are plenty of excellent dubbed Chinese and Korean Films, and given a choice between straight entertainment and some Hollywood dreck promoting one genuinely vile sexual practice or another, or cartoon "right-wing" villains (or both), about half the viewing audience would prefer the former.
