I have never forgotten that movie. I saw it on TV about 1966.
Alfred knew a lot about fears, worries and personality flaws.
That movie scared the crap out of me as a kid.
Must have been filming a western on the set next door.

Boy, they used to make good movies.
Did Hitchcock after talk about what the message behind that film was, if any?

The Birds is a great indicator of how anything, even the most benign, can be made to look menacing and evil.

He did mention it was about how fragile civilization is when nature intervenes.
Hitch also had a fear of birds.
Hitchcock just previously had lunch with Mel Brooks.

One of my favorite movies.

Kim Novak, same story.
She was repulsed, and didn’t hide it.
Angry Birds.
