Hey I learned how to restore the headphone jack on my new iPhone, just waiting on correct drill bit size to come in,
From what I understand there are several recruit company Depots that are using Airsoft pistols and rifles for firearms acquaintance. I’m not sure if they’re actually doing live fires or if live-fire would come later on in Advanced Training.

Given the author's tenuous grasp on basic terminology I wouldn't take his advice very far, but I will say that any Range Officer who heard a guy say he learned it all on the Internet or by playing video games would probably give that individual a very great deal of close attention. Just my $0.02.
Whenever I need a laugh I like watching nunchuck fails on YouTube, and there used to be this one I haven’t looked at it for a while where the Firearms instructor so to speak, was demonstrating quick draw with a 45 automatic and he shot his own self in the leg.
I learned neurosurgery on youtube.
Practiced on my neighbors while they were sleeping.
Waiting for them to wake up now.
Been awhile.
A higher ability for abstract thought could bridge gaps in the presentation.
I see your point. One of my brothers, a licesed trainer would agree.
Nothing like hands on, though.
But it's not the "volume of sound" downrange that does the "work". Although I can see that it may be of some temporary comfort. d:^)
“Can You Learn to Handle Weapons Through YouTube?”
No. You need hands-on training from a skilled instructor. Really, there’s a reason for bootcamps in the military.
Only Antifa soy-boys believe they can conquer the world by playing video games or watching youtube videos. Antifa gets their butts kicked every time, all the time they take on the Proud Boys.
“I have gotten some good pointers on tearing down and re-assembling weapons, especially older ones”
That’s good. What people cannot do is mix up instruction vs training.
I’m a Range Safety Officer at a club here in Colorado. I see YouTube graduates all the time like the guys that thought you load a bolt gun by unscrewing the mag plate. Nope, that don’t work.
“Can You Learn to Handle Weapons Through YouTube? “
Yes it’s possible.
I never changed an alternator before. I had to replace the one in my mustang when it went out. I watched a couple of youtube videos and voila, I fixed it.
Same with my Garbage disposal. Fixed it after gaining knowledge from Youtube.

So? Is the info bad or not or are you just being an asshole again?
Are y’all part of a noobie solidarity group?
That’s cute.
Noob on, noobers.
Personally, I find a lot of good video’s on youtube (along with the overwhelming trash that is out there). It is my thought if you have a decent base of anything you want more knowledge of you can find good instructions out on youtube when filtering searches. I am currently studying refining my .999 silver to .9999 silver crystals as well as studying varying pistol standing potions and their advantages and disadvantages and finally the decibels and pressure the human ear can take while firing from inside a vehicle with closed windows. Did you know the human brain has the capacity to “turn off” that ringing in our ears post a kill shot momentarily? Hunters know about this; so do combat vets. We don’t actually hear the *bang*. Problem is concussion that works against us later. Oh, yeah, also learning more about how to marinate white tail for some kick as civeche after the range time.
Meh...saw you took down those pic’s of you and jimrob back in the day. They were not flattering of you anyway. Gut gonna gut..
